The Journey

From November 29th, 2023 to December 13th, 2023, we embark for 14 nights on board of Commandant Charcot Icebreaker and plan to cross the Antarctic Circle to reach down south to the Charcot Island and Pourquoi Pas Island.

Weather permitting, we'll cross the mythic line of the Antarctic Polar Circle, located along 66°33’ south of the Equator

Pourquoi Pas Island

Landing on the coast of Pourquoi Pas Island, so named in the 1930s in honor of Jean-Baptiste Charcot who discovered it from onboard his ship Le Pourquoi Pas ?
